Saint John's Resort
Plymouth, MI
- "Rescue" excess restaurant and banquet food – In 2023, we donated more than 12,200 lbs. of unused food directly to local soup kitchens, providing over 28,000 meals.
- Help give refugees a better life in America by housing them on the property, employing and training them to work at Saint John’s Resort, and offering ESL classes on-site.
- Provide jobs to approximately 12 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, in partnership with Gesher Human Services and The Living and Learning Enrichment Center.
- Offer a menu of community service activities to groups that book events at Saint John’s Resort, such as meal-packing drives.
- Partner with First Tee—a youth development organization that uses golf to teach kids critical life skills—to offer on-site programming throughout the season.
- Participate in high school work-study programs with local Catholic schools that serve students from underprivileged populations.

The Inn at Stonecliffe
Mackinac Island, MI
- Prioritize hiring full-time versus seasonal employees, a critical imperative to keep the local school operational. Mackinac Island has faced challenges maintaining a young enough population to keep the school open.
- Set a new standard for employee housing on the island by undertaking extensive renovations and new constructions, ensuring that both our employees and those supporting other businesses reside in the finest accommodations available.
- Hire asylum seekers, helping to ensure these individuals find safety and a promising new start in America, which includes the opportunity for their children to receive education on Mackinac Island.

Hilton Garden Inn
Laramie, WY
- Commit funding for six scholarships over the next two years through a Student Enrichment Fund, enabling students to engage in transformative hospitality and tourism internships. The Foundation and the state of Wyoming will each contribute $52,500 to this fund.
- Fund a Student Excellence Fund to support a student hospitality competition, with both the Foundation and the state of Wyoming each contributing $17,500
- Launch the Pulte Gateway to Hospitality Internship, offering two students customized rotational experiences to enhance their employability upon graduation. Additionally, interns will contribute to developing a new "humanitarian" concept to be implemented at the hotel, adding a charitable dimension to their internship experience.
